Nicola Sebastian
About Nicola
A creative dreamer, half of my time is spent lost in thoughts, and the other is translating them into words to make sense of them. Being born in Poland, language and reading have been at the core of my heart, and I find solace in knowing my feelings have been felt through writers years before me.

My favourite poet
Oscar Wilde is a playwright and poet whose striking prose is generationally relevant. Wilde’s ability to capture complex feelings and tidy them up in a way that confines them to a simple sentence inspires me daily.

My favourite book
‘Someone Who Will Love You in All Your Damaged Glory’ is a collection of short stories by Raphael Bob-Waksberg. It is a series of heartfelt stories combined in a pink-covered book that softened my deep red heart after I read it the first time. Every so often, I come back to certain stories to find consolation for my feelings and crack a joke at heartbreak, too.
